KOS Faraway Pool Is Dreamy Elegance

Having bathtub in your bathroom and a pool in your backyard isn’t enough. Obviously, you must have a pool in your bathroom for that would be true luxury but installing one wasn’t a very easy thing, until KOS came by.

KOS Faraway PoolKOS brings you the Faraway Pool which appears to be something of a mix between a small pool and a Jacuzzi. Unlike a bathtub and much like a Jacuzzi, the Faraway pool is fitted into the ground with small steps leading in. A trench running along the sides of the mini pool is there to catch the excess water flowing out. the pool has a tiny fan which gives the water a rippling effect creating the soothing illusion that one is immersed in something more than just an artificial pool.

The KOS Faraway Pool was designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba and was presented at the ISH 2009 in Frankfurt. The simplistic and stylish pool can be yours if you have the right amount of money; the price is available upon request from the manufacturer.

Product description

KOS Faraway PoolA graphic statement at ground level, the Faraway/ Pool sunken mini-pool is level with the floor.
Bringing together the best of the Faraway collection, Kos presents the concept spa: the bathroom is no longer a ritual place, but a space dedicated to a multi-sensory wellbeing.
Function and aesthetics integrally blended: typically functional items are transformed into geometric details of great beauty. The steps to lower oneself into the pool become sources of illumination; the ground-level fissure for the collection of water doubles the pool’s outline; the blower placed under the steps ripples the surface of the water over the entire length of the pool.

An object of great emotional impact, for infinitely pleasurable moments.
Once again Kos explores the boundaries of wellbeing, to be experienced indoor and outdoor.

The Anne Semonin spa in the Bristol Hotel is growing !

The Anne Sémonin Spa in the Bristol Hotel unveils its new attractions.

© Guillaume De Laubier - Spa Anne SémoninThe three booths on the ground floor (a boutique, two multi-functional booths with a shower and a floor massage booth) had already been completely renovated in July 2007.

From now on, the Anne Sémonin spa can be accessed from the hotel and has been enlarged with three additional booths on the first floor: a single booth, a double booth and a Lise Watier makeup booth, thus offering a beautiful additional beauty and wellbeing area sheltered from the famous, bustling rue du Faubourg St Honoré. So many good reasons to succumb to the unique know-how of the Anne Sémonin aestheticians and the Bristol hotel’s five star service!

Refined design with pure lines.

Living up to the luxury and refinement of the Bristol hotel, the decoration of the Anne Sémonin Spa involved talented, passionate craftspeople, promoting the use of fine natural materials, such as raw Juneda stone (for the floor, water wall and shower booths), whitewood (for the furniture), cashmere (for the plaids and cushions) and silver (for the boxes and accessories). The highly technological devices used for the plumbing (chromed stainless steel, calling to mind the lids of the treatment product pots), lighting, sound system and pure air renewal system are an integral part of the Spa’s beauty. The boutique’s gentle, plush environment, upholstered in beige, upholding confidentiality and discretion, includes a water wall, the sound of the running water bringing total relaxation and serenity. A consultation area, decorated with the white orchids dear to the brand, has also been provided and a wall of backlit presentation niches promoting the Anne Sémonin product range is visible from the street.

The Anne Semonin experience : A made-to-measure treatment programme and five-star service.

© Guillaume De LaubierThe Anne Sémonin Spa at the Bristol hotel invites you to discover the Anne Sémonin experience through their new collection of massages and treatments for the face and body: a complete and exceptionally diverse programme designed around the made-tomeasure concept, exclusively for the Bristol hotel!
All treatments start with an initial diagnosis for each client, based around their lifestyle, skin type and the products they usually use. Then, the real beauty alchemists, the aestheticians, develop, in the presence of the client, a treatment perfectly adapted to their needs, mixing essential oil and oligo-element complexes with the various treatment products, applying the know-how which has established Anne Semonin’s reputation.

Finally, to round off the treatment beautifully, clients are offered Mariage Frères tea, accompanied by the Bristol Hotel’s mini macaroons. For this new “flagship” venue, Anne Sémonin and the Bristol Hotel have recruited a professional team made up of five full-time aesthetician/masseurs, with the additional involvement of Bastien Gonzalez, famous pedicurist to the stars, working exclusively in Paris with the Bristol Hotel.
