KOS Faraway Pool Is Dreamy Elegance

Having bathtub in your bathroom and a pool in your backyard isn’t enough. Obviously, you must have a pool in your bathroom for that would be true luxury but installing one wasn’t a very easy thing, until KOS came by.
KOS brings you the Faraway Pool which appears to be something of a mix between a small pool and a Jacuzzi. Unlike a bathtub and much like a Jacuzzi, the Faraway pool is fitted into the ground with small steps leading in. A trench running along the sides of the mini pool is there to catch the excess water flowing out. the pool has a tiny fan which gives the water a rippling effect creating the soothing illusion that one is immersed in something more than just an artificial pool.
The KOS Faraway Pool was designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba and was presented at the ISH 2009 in Frankfurt. The simplistic and stylish pool can be yours if you have the right amount of money; the price is available upon request from the manufacturer.
Product description
A graphic statement at ground level, the Faraway/ Pool sunken mini-pool is level with the floor.
Bringing together the best of the Faraway collection, Kos presents the concept spa: the bathroom is no longer a ritual place, but a space dedicated to a multi-sensory wellbeing.
Function and aesthetics integrally blended: typically functional items are transformed into geometric details of great beauty. The steps to lower oneself into the pool become sources of illumination; the ground-level fissure for the collection of water doubles the pool’s outline; the blower placed under the steps ripples the surface of the water over the entire length of the pool.
An object of great emotional impact, for infinitely pleasurable moments.
Once again Kos explores the boundaries of wellbeing, to be experienced indoor and outdoor.
