The Seven Colours Spa brand was conceived on the island of Mauritius, an ideal Spa destination, renowned all over the world for its multicultural way of life.

Seven Colours celebrates the art of wellbeing, turning it into a whole philosophy : a unique approach that is based on the interaction and balance of life giving energies and colours… a synthesis of ancestral therapies, stimulation of the senses, and the benefits of nature.

When we feel at peace in the lush green surroundings of a forest, or when we feel warm and happy in a decor full of sunny yellow tones, we are experiencing something that is more than merely a visual sensation.

Charged with energy, the colours are absorbed by our bodies, by our skin, and they influence our being at a deep level… our emotions and our state of mind. They stimulate our nervous system, feeding our 7 energy centres : the chakras.

Inspired by this oriental philosophy of the Chakras, the Seven Colours concept is based on the interaction and balance of the energies and colours that revitalise us. Seven Colours recognises and respects that we are all individual and unique and in line with this, we off er each client a personalised experience, across a range of treatments, our products and even extending to our Energy Cuisine. A unique approach… embodied in the motto dreamed up to encapsulate Seven Colours.

Our spas and wellbeing salons, our treatments, cosmetics and associated products specially created since 2004 according to the principles described above. Started in February 2008 at the Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort.

A new culinary experience inspired by the Seven Colours concept utilising essential oils and edible fl oral waters. The concept was developed in 2004 by Helene Cassan, a Frenchwoman with more than 10 years expertise in the world of beauty and wellbeing.

It was born out of her training in Oriental practices and techniques encompassing a holistic approach in which the individual is more important than the symptom and where the question of body energies underpins everything. The Seven Colours concept, which includes this philosophy, the various treatments, the range of cosmetics as well as a new approach to cooking, is based on two entities.

The Seven Colours Rituals
The “Colours Treatments”(violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red) offer a complete selection of massages and body treatments, such as the Draining wrap (YELLOW), which drains and slims the body, or the Harmony massage (INDIGO), which caresses the body with extensive massage movements. To round off the colours treatments, Seven Colours offers a completely original set of facial massages and treatments… the “Signature Treatments”, such as the ‘Seven Colours’ massage in which we use warmed semi precious stones to work on the 7 energies. Finally, Seven Colours offers some original treatments, such as massage for babies, children or pregnant women… initiations into the art of massage or the art of relaxation… or personalised and thematic treatments.

Seven Colours Cosmetics
In order to reanimate these 7 energies and colours, Seven Colours Spa & Cosmetics has created a range of cosmetics based on plants and essential oils… 100% pure and natural. The essential oils used come from Madagascar, supplied by a laboratory that has demonstrated social and environmental commitment. Furthermore, Colbert Balneoforme laboratory works primarily with distillers who work for the promotion of the good of the environment. It also provides them with financial support when possible and if needed, and then repayment is in the form of distilled Products.

A newly invented cuisine
A new concept in cooking inspired by the Seven Colours concept, Seven Colours Energy Cuisine is an original and personalised experience that stimulates the energies that drive our life force… and a cuisine that explores a whole range of cooking methods, products, colours and textures, utilising essential oils and edible floral waters. All titillating the senses.

Just like the purple chakra and the red chakra, the dishes encompass a range of possibilities… from the lightest of dishes such as mousses, through the creamiest of textures, to more robust and earthy meals simmered long and slow. A healthy and innovative cooking, carefully and compiled with great knowledge by Executive Chef at the Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort, Philippe, in collaboration with Valérie Cupillard, consultant in culinary creation, specialised in the use of essential oils and organic products.
